DJ DIVERSE

DJ diverse has been utilising the wheels of steel now for nearly 6 years. Thanks to his musical family, from a young age he was listening to music from the likes of Larry young, Julie Driscoll and Brian Auger. Diverse was confronted by his first dose of Jungle (Drum n bass) in his latter years at school were he heard from his friend and long time DJ partner, Funkshun, the sounds of Sense FM and other local pirate stations. From this moment he knew that Drum n Bass was his drive. After record collecting and many a late night on a fine pair of belt drives, Diverse realised that Dj’ing was what he did best. He is now enjoying an exciting career and relationship with FT and alongside his partner in crime, Funkshun are looking at world domination.



Diverse’s influences outside of drum n bass are currently the likes of the Thievery Corporation, Quantic Soul Orchestra, Cinematic orchestra, Four Tet and Square Pusher as well as bands such as Radiohead and the Eels. And finally, without stating the obvious…… Calibre.
