DJ FUNK-SHUN

Dj Funkshun first took interest to music through his family and of course close friends. His sister, who played near enough every genre in the book left him addicted by the all inspiring electronic sounds of Orbital, Underworld, Aphex Twin and the Prodigy. His brother on the other hand used to be a devoted attendee of jungle/hardcore nights such as ROAST, Helter Skelter, and Dreamscape from 1994 onwards, giving Funkshun the chance to absorb tape pack after tape pack of raves across the country.



The trio Diverse, Funkshun and Govin shared their love for ‘liquid’ drum n bass from the age of 16 years old, leading Funkshun & Diverse to develop their tag-team flava into something unique, usually dropping a new eclectic mix of dancefloor material in their set.



Inspiration for Funkshun is music in itself as an art form, it is such a thought-provoking expression because it has the ability of changing state of consciousness at the press of a button.



Forthcoming plans are for Funkshun to begin production in the studio in the very near future.
