DJ MIGGZ

Miggz’s first musical experience or first musical memory was aged 11 when he began listening to hip-hop, stimulated by artists such as 2Pac.  He first became aware of Drum & Bass was through his good friends DM C.U.T. and DJ Rage.  As a true north London boy growing up in Stoke Newington, his early days of raving began at the age of around 16/17 took him to places like AWOL Paradise Club and Camden Palace
His main significant force in D&B has to be DM C.U.T.  He speaks about him with very highly and says “I know its seems like I have to be saying he has been the most influential person in D&B for me, but it really is an unbiased view.  I really have learnt a lot from him and have total respect for the guy. It’s not just him though; there are other producers and DJs out there, which have inspired me such as Calibre, High Contrast, Fabio and LTJ Bukem.  I’ve got respect for everyone in the scene and hope that it continues to produce more and more talented artists and music”.

Miggz became part of the Future Thinkin crew as a DJ in 2003, playing his first set for traffic at the Rhythm factory in Whitechapel.  He has also DJ’d for Life fm Internet radio.  He’s been a part of Future Thinkin behind the scenes for many years, spending hours in the studio with DM C.U.T. producing tracks.

His aspirations are to play a lot more for Future Thinkin, and continue to produce more tunes, which he hopes to release under the forthcoming label.
